About me.

My route into technology started onstage, not behind a screen.

I trained as a classical singer at Wilfrid Laurier University. Rehearsal taught me how to listen, respond, and shape an experience with other people—and how much the smallest choices in timing can change what an audience feels.

Later, I helped tour the Hate Ends Now education exhibit through dozens of cities. I managed technical setups and logistics, delivered programming to more than 250 people a day, and supported the marketing and day-to-day systems that kept the exhibit moving.

That experience made me want to learn how digital tools are made. I studied web and software development at BrainStation and later returned as a teaching assistant. Since then, I have kept learning through my own websites and interactive experiments, as well as collaborative projects including Lightbridge and Butterfly Confessions.

I still sing with the Toronto Mendelssohn Choir. Performance is not a former life I left behind; it continues to shape how I think about rhythm, collaboration, rehearsal, and the people on the other side of the work.
