A developer who used to sing opera.

Hi, I'm Madison — an Honours of Music graduate and former opera singer who now builds software. I work at the intersection of code, data, and creativity: shipping full-stack and AI-enhanced products, live-visual tools, and interactive installations.

I move between design and code, so the original idea survives all the way into the tiny details. That range is the point — a live instrument, a physics game, a greenhouse data story, and a watch-party app don't look alike, but they all come from the same instinct: build the thing you can actually play with.

My music background is why I care so much about timing, feel, and the exact moment something clicks. Performing teaches things that transfer straight into product work: you rehearse until the hard parts are automatic, you read the room and adjust in real time, and you obsess over the last 5% of polish because that's what an audience actually feels. A good interaction has the same shape as a good phrase — anticipation, release, and a sense that it's responding to you.

Right now I'm freelancing and building products, and I'm always up for a creative idea that needs someone who can take it from concept through to something people want to touch.
